The cards in this photo have been hand-painted by Sabrina Wu, one of our amazing student volunteers at Sentinel Secondary School!

C4C is a supplementary project that we started for our main initiative, the Craft Kits Project. Our goal with C4C is to further connect with senior home residents in the community.

In our craft kits, we are including handmade and handwritten greeting cards with personalized messages for residents, in hopes to add even more care and love to their crafting endeavours.

​

The cards are either hand-drawn or are prints of designs that our volunteers have created, but all messages are individually handwritten and can be anything from a lighthearted joke to a note of encouragement.

​

Our plan is to hold card design contests throughout the year that we will select from to print at Lynx Print, and then send them to volunteers to write in. For Covid-19 safety measures, we will quarantine these cards before they are sent out to senior homes. Finally, after being quarantined, we will drop one card into each of our craft kits, and they'll be off to make some days!
